Business Angels Deutschland e.V. (BAND), the national federation of the Business Angels market in Germany, and Business Angels Europe (BAE) will award the annual prize “Golden Aurora”.
The response of nominations is huge: More than 20 active and successful Female Angel Investors from all over Europe have been nominated for “Europe’s Best Female Angel Investor of the Year 2023”. In the past weeks, almost 100 suggestions have been received – from startups, colleagues, and the nominees’ environments.
Now, it lies in the hands of the experienced jury consisting of Angel Investors and distinguished players of the ecosystem from all over Europe to decide who will be the winner of this years´ award. The solemn ceremony, in which the winner is announced, will be held on July, 5th 2023 in Berlin during the BAND “DemoDay Women Angels Mission ´25”.
The winner of the Golden Aurora is expected to serve as an ambassador for Female Angel Investing in Europe. The clear objective is to motivate more women to become Angel Investors. BAND has declared the “Women Angels Mission ‘25“ to achieve the goal of a total of 25% Female Business Angels in Germany by 2025 (for more info: www.womenangelsmission25.de)
