Am Dienstag, den 7. November 2023, findet die vierte Business Angels Europe Conference on Angel Investment Research (online) – veranstaltet von Business Angels Deutschland e. V. (BAND) und Business Angels Europe (BAE) – statt.
Es ist der einzige Kongress in Europa, der sich der Erforschung des europäischen Business Angels Ökosystems widmet und akademisches Wissen über Angel Investments aus ganz Europa zusammenbringt. Aber nicht nur Akademiker sind an den Ergebnissen der Forschung zu diesem Thema interessiert: Die Konferenz ist auch für die breite Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Markttransparenz ist für das gesamte Angel-Ökosystem relevant – sowohl für aktive als auch für potenzielle Business Angels, die Politik und alle anderen Akteure des Ökosystems.
Was ist über Angel Investing in ganz Europa bekannt? Es werden nach europäischen Ländern geclusterte Studien und Ergebnisse vorgestellt, das Sonderthema 2023 “Women Angel Investing” angesprochen sowie laufende, geplante und abgeschlossene Forschungsprojekte beleuchtet und bekannt gemacht. Abschließend wird ein Panel mit Vertretern der europäischen Angel-Verbände “den Puls des europäischen Angel-Marktes” fühlen und die Forschungsergebnisse zur Optimierung des europäischen Angel-Ökosystems zusammenfassen.

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the fourth Business Angels Europe Conference on Angel Investment Research (online) – hosted by Business Angels Deutschland e. V. (BAND) and Business Angels Europe (BAE) – will take place.
It is the only congress in Europe dedicated to researching the European business angels ecosystem, bringing together academic knowledge on angel investments from across Europe. But not only academics are interested in the results of research around this topic: The conference will be open to the general public. Market transparency is relevant for the whole angel ecosystem – for active as well as potential business angels, politics, and all other stakeholders of the ecosystem.
What is known about angel investing throughout Europe? Studies and results clustered by European countries will be presented, the special topic 2023 “Women Angel Investing” will be addressed, and ongoing, planned and finalized research projects will be highlighted and publicized. Finally, a panel with the representatives of the European Angel Federations will “take the pulse of the European Angel market” and summarize the research results for optimizing the European angel ecosystem.
