Die Preisträgerin der diesjährigen Golden Aurora für “Europe’s Female Angel Investor of the Year” – verliehen durch Business Angels Deutschland e. V. (BAND) und Business Angels Europe (BAE) – Mary McKenna aus Irland wurde nur einen Tag nach der feierlichen Preisverleihung in Berlin am 5. Juli auch als “Angel Investor of the Year” von UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) ausgezeichnet. UKBAA ehren mit ihrem Preis aktive und einflussreiche Lead-Angel-Investoren, die Start-up- und Frühphasenunternehmen im Vereinigten Königreich unterstützen und nicht nur lebenswichtiges Risikokapital, sondern auch einen erheblichen Mehrwert für das Wachstum und den Erfolg ihres Portfolios bereitstellen.

“Double” for Irishwoman Mary McKenna: Two “Business Angel of the Year” awards in a row
The winner of this year’s Golden Aurora for “Europe’s Female Angel Investor of the Year” – awarded by Business Angels Deutschland e. V. (BAND) and Business Angels Europe (BAE) – Mary McKenna from Ireland was also named “Angel Investor of the Year” by UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) just one day after the award ceremony in Berlin on July 5. UKBAA’s award honors active and influential lead angel investors who support start-up and early-stage companies in the UK, providing not only vital venture capital but also significant value to the growth and success of their portfolio.
